Founder guitarist's name[edit]

An anonymous editor claiming to represent the band insists that the name of the group's guitarist "is Merritt Goodwin not Meritt Alfero. We (the band) has tried several times to correct this yet it keeps going back to the wrong name." The change has been reverted several times to Merrit Alfero. The name has been listed as Merrit Alfero since June, without any sourcing. I have done some searching and I found multiple places where the name is listed as Merritt Goodwin. [1] [2] [3] I also found sourcing for Merrit (or Merritt} Alfero.[4][5] I also found many references to a Mikey Alfero, [6] who is listed in this article as a former member. The band's website doesn't mention any names.[7]

My hunch: Mikey Alfero is the guitarist and co-founder who joined in 2010 and left in 2011. Merritt Goodwin is the current guitarist and has been since 2012. Merrit Alfero mignt be Mikey's real name, or it might be a confusion with Merritt Goodwin. Here is what I am going to put in the article - Merritt Goodwin as the current guitarist, Mikey Alfero as founder guitarist and former member. Anyone who has better information can revert this, but please have sources to show you are right. --MelanieN (talk) 23:59, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
