Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Stockman (Australia) which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RM bot 15:45, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ringer[edit]

Numerous piped references to "ringers" link here. Where should these links go? What exactly is a "ringer"? 69.3.72.249 (talk) 04:42, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Worked it out: a ringer is a stockman employed seasonally in the Top End. 69.3.72.249 (talk) 16:43, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Incoming links[edit]

I have fixed all incoming links. A large minority intended Stockman (Australia). Many intended Jackaroo (trainee) or Station hand, now redirects that point to Station (Australian agriculture)#Personnel. A few intended one of the other entries now on this disambiguation page. Stock contractor now is a redlink with many incoming links; per Wikipedia:Red links, it should be left as is, until someone writes an article. 69.3.72.249 (talk) 17:42, 29 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
