Requested move[edit]

Stool osmolal gapStool osmotic gap — Since an osmotic can be measured in units of osmolality or osmolarity, when one is speaking of an osmotic pressure "gap," unless the units are known, it should be referred to as an "osmotic gap." Since this page deals with the general concept and not the units specifically, then its title should reflect this. 02:57, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

Request for edit review[edit]

@Chris Capoccia: I just made a pretty major edit to the article (so e.g. the reader doesn't have to know what secretory and osmotic diarrhoea are to understand it) and I'd appreciate a once-over to check that I didn't screw anything up. I notice you edited this article once a few years ago and are active on many medical articles; may I trouble you to see if it makes sense? Thank you! 167.88.12.231 (talk) 23:33, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
