Average chart[edit]

Does anyone know if the average chart is correct because according to www.ultimatestrictly.com it shows something different? --MSalmon (talk) 21:41, 18 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I know it's correct now but to avoid confusion down the line, Ultimate Strictly has converted the week three scores to 40 by dividing by 4, whereas here we've simply removed Donny's scores from the totals and calculated from there. --StigOfTheKrump (talk) 13:08, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Couples[edit]

Why is the couples section where it lists them all smaller than the others

On updating who's been eliminated[edit]

I noticed this week (23 November) that someone had updated who had been eliminated from the competition before the result had been announced, i.e. the person concerned had made an educated guess as to who was going to be eliminated that week. Surely, this can't be right - Wikipedia is supposed to reflect facts, and not supposition or prediction. I presume this comes from some desire to be the first to edit the page, but this desire shouldn't really be at the expense of accuracy. Fortnum (talk) 20:08, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't an educated guess, the result show occurs immediately after the Saturday show, they wait and broadcast it the next day. If you go on certain websites it is possible to find out who has been eliminated prior to the Sunday results show. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.9.60.252 (talk) 00:27, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Highest and Lowest scoring performances[edit]

The table currently includes a score of "6" for Pixie and "1" for Jake in the Waltz-a-thon. But these were marked out of 6 and so aren't really comparable with all of the other dances, which were scored out of 40. I'd therefore suggest they are not included in the table. Or, at least, be obviously separated in some way. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:21, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I agree because Len just read out the ranking of the couples and they got the extra points. --MSalmon (talk) 22:14, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
In addition to this, I assume the Swing-A-Thon would not need to be included in the Highest and Lowest scoring performances from the respective series in which they were included (8, 9, and 11) for the same reason about them not being scored out of 40. MadGuy7023 (talk) 22:40, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'd certainly agree (although swing has it's own rules, I guess). Martinevans123 (talk) 22:43, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The highest and lowest table at the main page now says this: "The Swing Marathon and Group Viennese Waltz have also been omitted as they were not scored on the usual scale." A similar note should be added here. Martinevans123 (talk) 23:41, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Any objections before that last line is removed? Martinevans123 (talk) 11:02, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'd suggest that this edit provides a particularly clumsy and unnecessary response to the problem. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:53, 22 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have now tried to remove this line of the table twice, but User:Cwmxii seems to be intent on re-adding it, with the rather terse edit summaries: "Please don't vandalise this article again" and "Allow me to reiterate." The editor seems somewhat reluctant to engage in discussion, at any Talk Page forum, anywhere, with a grand total of 0.2% Talk Page edits. A little exasperating. Suggestions very welcome. Martinevans123 (talk) 18:10, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
And of course, it's just as confusing in the articles for all the other episodes. So it's now confusingly consistent. Except with the main article. Martinevans123 (talk) 19:11, 1 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mark Wright Voted Off[edit]

Do not erase Mark's elimination. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ThorpLove (talkcontribs) 20:13, 20 December 2014‎ (UTC)[reply]

It will be erased because he has NOT been voted off yet --MSalmon (talk) 20:20, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oh! Okay. Sounds like a good deal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ThorpLove (talkcontribs) 20:32, 20 December 2014 ‎(UTC)[reply]

And yet you keep updating it? --MSalmon (talk) 20:33, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, but Strictly returned 50 minutes later. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ThorpLove (talkcontribs) 20:54, 20 December 2014‎ (UTC)[reply]

RFC impacting this page[edit]

Hey! I've recently opened an RFC regarding some of the colours used in the scoring chart for this and several other articles. You can find the discussion here - please feel free to share your thoughts. Thanks! Remagoxer (talk) 01:35, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
