Created[edit]

The article, about the 2015 redistricting of 542 towns in Styria (Austria), was created by long-term user Wikid77 (talk) (me), on 1 November 2016, almost 2 years after German WP had edited the related town articles in preparation for the 2015 new towns. The 2-year delay here, in English Wikipedia, was an unfortunate misstep in trying to keep the Austria town pages current for recent events. For many years, pages about Austria have lagged far behind German WP, such as translating the 23 town districts of Vienna into enwiki only years after developed by dewiki editors. The redirect title "Steiermärkische Gemeindestrukturreform" was created as a stable title, in case the English title gets move-renamed to a more common title some day. -Wikid77 (talk) 01:37, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Created new town pages of Styria[edit]

During 1-14 November 2016, I created or expanded the following 36 pages for new municipalities in Styria, Austria of 2015 (text translated from German WP plus infobox & images). The new names of municipalities include:

The sections in each new page vary, where some have "History" or describe the town crest (under "Coat of arms"), but some new pages had no town-crest image, yet, on German WP, where town officials took over a year to authorize a new crest in some towns. -Wikid77 (talk) 12:20, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Styrian ...[edit]

A better (word by word) translation would start with Styrian.

So imho the lemma should better read:

Styrian municipal structural reform
