Notability[edit]

The following extracts establish notability:

"Sue is selected for the Prince Philip Designer of the Year by the RCA. She designs a collection of fabrics for the Japanese Imperial Palace. The Textile Institute award her the Institute Medal for Design in recognition of her substantial contribution to the field of textile design."

and

"The Fashion and Textile Museum in London hold an exhibition of Sue’s work over the last 30 years."

but the article needs a great deal of work. Jimmy Pitt talk 18:03, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stubbed for someone familiar with the subject to expand on properly. — e. ripley\talk 18:24, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That leaves the door open for another CSD since you've deleted the items that estasblish notability. Jimmy Pitt talk 18:50, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Put them back in, then, if they can be properly sourced. — e. ripley\talk 19:38, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

D.o.B, please[edit]

Can we have a date-of-birth, as standard in Wiki pages? Valetude (talk) 13:36, 8 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality[edit]

This was clearly a puff piece and largely sourced to writings attributed to Timney herself. I have pared it back, although I suspect more needs to go. - Sitush (talk) 17:17, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Much of it seemed to have been copy/pasted from here. A revdel may be needed. - Sitush (talk) 17:51, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, a lot of potential sources seem to be obscure blogs or listing sites. There was an interview in The Times in 2014 and there is some minimally useful stuff here. - Sitush (talk) 18:18, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
