well at the moment its just an index of some topics that I think should be discussed , speciall fana , baqa , marifa & rooh , which can be considered as key concepts of Sufism . I'll add more stuff when I have time . Thanks F.a.y.تبادله خيال /c 20:23, 12 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I redirected to sufism. I don't know if the philosophy of Sufism deserves a separate article (probably yes), but there is no content right now. Karol 20:25, 15 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose merging Sufi psychology into this article (Sufi Philosophy). The Sufi psychology article states several times that the concepts are derived from the Koran, and the language used throughout is that of spiritual/religious philosophy.

There is no apparent connection between Sufi psychology and the modern practice of psychology, which is built upon research, applied medical knowledge, and individual assessment based upon established criteria.

There are 171 hits on google scholar for 'Sufi psychology'; most appear to be religion/spirituality focused books rather than academic works, suggesting that the content fits better here than under an uncommonly used and somewhat misleading article title. Agreed. Caveat: be cautious about what is merged; that article is weakly sourced. Most of it was written by one bod [1] who may or may not have known what he was on about William M. Connolley (talk) 14:12, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
