genre[edit]

I think the genre the genre should be changed to somthing more suitable. May I suggest Emo/Pop, or Emo/Punk


Not emo. Pop-punk or pop-rock is suitable, in my opinion.

popularly misheard lyrics[edit]

"loaded god complex" or "loaded gun complex"?

I dunno, dya reckon this song could be about anti semitism? probably about their experiences as being shunned out of their communities and being thaught of as devils with the horns? what dya think?
It's "god complex," with a lowercase 'g'. God complex —paul?
dude i might be wrong but based on context it should be gun i mean " i'll be your #1 with a bullet a loaded gun complex cock it and pull it." really.

what about this, in the lyrics book that comes from the cd it says he wishes to be the "friction in his jeans" yet when you listen it's obviously not "his" but maybe "her" or "your" A typo in the printed lyrics? or maybe someone trying to make a gay joke.

Pt. 2 Cover[edit]

Well, tooling around with WikiText for about 30 minutes, I could not figure out how to add to the bottom of the box for the Pt2 cover.. The image name is NonFreeImageRemoved.svg .Perhaps someone could help? -- Diehard2k5 01:21, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There, I used the {{Extra album cover}} template. I did the same thing on Fall Out Boy/Project Rocket Split EP and From Under the Cork Tree. Oh, and could someone add some information about the second part? I personally didn't even know there was a second part. What's the point of showing the cover if we don't talk about what it's for. Shinigami Kamenzi attempted a cut-and-paste move, which I have since reverted. He tried to move it to Sugar, We're Goin Down, without an apostrophe at the end of 'Goin'. I agree with him that it should be moved, so I am formally proposing it.

Song meaning[edit]

There is an [unofficial video] for the song that uses clips from the movie Saving Grace along with footage of the band playing from the original video. Big Bang theory[edit]

I added the following text to the article and created a "Cultural references" section: "In the 2008 episode of The Big Bang Theory "The Vartabedian Conundrum," there is a scene in which Leonard is talking to Penny and denies that he is living with his new girlfriend. To "go down swinging" (and its variants) is a common phrase.[1] There's no proof that its use in The Big Bang Theory was in any way at all a reference to the song. Making an assumption that it is, as clearly indicated in the edit by "probably a reference" and the lack of a citation from a reliable source, is called original research and is unnaceptable. I can provide reliable sources as to the song being about that immediately if needed, but as for the protests, I vaguely remember hearing about them.
