Genre problems/conflicts[edit]

Hello,

I just noticed there are some conflicts in genre.

Synthpop: many of the reviews of the album describe multiple songs/the album as synthpop in nature.

Synthpunk: by definition, synthpunk is electronic punk-pop, though none of the reviews directly say "synthpunk" (as that genre is not used regularly anyways in writing), almost every song on Sugarfist has electronic punk infused in it in some way (one listen to almost any of the songs would show this).

Power pop: again, by definition, according to the Wikipedia on power pop, the album fits. However, it has the same problem as synthpunk (one listen to almost any of the songs would show this).

Also: I feel like reference numbers attached to the genres looks like litter. I've seen plenty other album articles where it isn't used/needed....why is it needed here?

As its predecessor, the Quota EP would have all the same genre titles as it is basically a preview EP to Sugarfist.

The solution is not to point to references that state something or other or to appeal to another article, but to start a discussion in the article related to style. List the genres that are supported by the sources. Once that's complete, add additional sources to the infobox. Adding sources without references is not appropriate in this or any article.
