This article is written in American English, which has its own spelling conventions (color, defense, traveled) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

Illustration[edit]

Obviously the article would benefit from a clear illustration. There's one here from an online copy of one of Carandini's articles but it seems pretty clearly like it should be under copyright. Wikicommons seems surprisingly bereft of anything except coins showing this. There should be something in reliefs of the ritual or at least the Gabine cinch but none of it seems to be labeled yet. — LlywelynII 08:21, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
