Fresnel effect[edit]

The actual reason for the sun glitter being stronger at shallow angles (i.e. forming a line shape at low sun angles and low observer angles), rarely explained, is Fresnel reflection causing less of the light to enter the water and more of it being reflected. This is missing from most places trying to explain the sun glitter shape on the internet. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Balrog (talkcontribs) 07:12, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Other languages[edit]

Why are there no equivalents of this article in other languages such as French, Dutch, German, Italian, Spanish, etc... ? DannyCaes (talk) 15:40, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The different language Wikipedias are all independent. The editors here work on the English Wikipedia. If you have a question about content in another language, you should ask about it on that language's Wikipedia. Or, if you are fluent in other languages, go create the article yourself. --Srleffler (talk) 16:52, 30 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
