Casio FX Usb processors

I saw that Casio's procressors were SH3 for fx-9860 family, and SH4A for the recent FX-GC10/20, alias Prizm. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.199.224.161 (talk) 15:09, 17 October 2011 (UTC)

Sega Virtua Processor

What is the connection between the Sega Virtual Processor and the Hitachi Super-H? In particular, why does wikipedia's entry for Sega Virtua Processor redirect to SuperH?

Thank you for the hint, it was assumed by some people for a long time that the SVP is only a rebranded SH-1 or SH DSP. It turned out the SVP is in fact a Samsung SSP1601. I'll correct that. --32X 11:39, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

Reads like an advert

Did Renesas write this page or something? This article seems to give the SH family glowing reviews (NPOV violation) and there are tons of backlinks back to sites on Renesas' own IP range. Marked as appropriate. -- Love and cookies, cmn ( ❝❞ / ) 09:17, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

Name of ISA?

Renesas claims the SuperH is a family of CPU cores, but most independent literature I have seen claims it is an ISA. Renesas claims the SuperH family implements the SHcompact or SHmedia ISAs. Which is it? Rilak (talk) 12:11, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
