History of SuperH Inc

SuperH, Inc. sold the IP of these CPU cores to Renesas Technology in 2004, which became Renesas Electronics on 2010.

I can't find any sources or further history about SuperH Inc. I wonder if the SuperH technology was sold to Renesas Technology or transferred. Hitachi 'formed' part of SuperH Inc and also owned (55%) of Renesas Technology? Jonpatterns (talk) 14:10, 3 May 2013 (UTC)

I found some info on this, adding it to the article. Renesas was formed as a joint venture of Hitachi and Mitsubishi Electric, and took over ST's share of ownership in the SuperH shortly after its creation. See eetimes.com. Modulo17 (talk) 13:19, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
