The Batman Adventures[edit]

I removed the following section from the article because it seems to be completely irrelevant. If someone feels it should stay in, it needs more info or it should be reworded so that it ties in with the article's main subject.

The Batman Adventures[edit]

While not in canon with Superman: The Animated Series or Superman Adventures, The Batman Adventures #25 features an early appearance of Superman and Lex Luthor. Superman is shown with the mullet hairstyle from his early 1990s comics and Lex has red hair, as opposed to his usual baldness. The story has Superman and Batman (both know each other prior to the issue's beginning) teaming up to fight Maxie Zeus, who has acquired a scepter that can trigger earthquakes. Lex uses this opportunity to test his LexCorp Hunter Seekers. At the end of the issue, Batman discovers that Lex is Maxie Zeus' benefactor, for the purpose of testing his robot. Batman agrees to remain quiet about his involvement on the condition that he withdraws his military contract. Lex agrees to it, but threatens to make Batman his target.
