I'm new[edit]

Correcting name of the current chief justice[edit]

The current Chief Justice of the Illinois Supreme Court is Rita B. Garman. She assumed this position on October 28, 2013. The table in the article lists Thomas Kilbride as the current chief justice, but this is no longer correct.
