Coat of Arms??[edit]

I think the coat of arms is wrong. Why does it have the UK's cost of arms? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2403:7900:ADE1:A1DE:250:56FF:FEA6:3B1F (talk) 04:51, 22 April 2014 (UTC) No the Coat of Arms is Correct - see also the Supreme Court Act for the insignia on its seal Suastiastu (talk) 12:27, 21 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Boothby[edit]

Boothby is well worthy of comment, but I think its incorrect to say he didn't believe in the power of local legislature to enact laws. He was a reasoned lawyer, and mostly he reasoned and held that the laws of the local legislature in question were repugnant to imperial laws which held sway by paramount force. His reasoning led to the Colonial Laws Validity Act - which provided that local legislatures could, going forward, enact laws in their own province which were repugnant to the imperial laws. At least there needs to be a citation for the present assertion if it is to remain. Suastiastu (talk) 12:31, 21 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
