Double consonants[edit]

Hi. How are double consonants pronounced in Romansh? Take for instance from this article the words "mumma", "culla", "silla", "ella". Are they geminates as in Italian, are they pronounced as single consonants, but they affect the length of the previous vowel, as in English? Does "ll" have a sound of its own, as in Spanish?

I can't seem to find that little detail anywhere and I'd appreciate it if someone could help. Thanks. Eduarodi (talk) 16:33, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
