I have corrected the spelling of rúd (accent at u, initial /this isn't german, after all/), corrected the conversion between forint and euro cent. Today I were in a shop, the lesser one is 59 forint, the óriás version is 95, so I think 60 and 100 is good in this article.

Also, I remember something about Túró Rudi in Wikipedia, but that wasn't this article... Somebody knows something about it?

P.S.: That thing in the history that rúd is penis in slang, is simply hilarious :D never heard somebody calling a dick rúd (bar)... Frigo 19:31, 14 June 2006 (UTC) Yeah, that is true but I'm sure you've heard people calling the penis "Rudi". It is not common, however, I give you that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Borzas (talkcontribs) 07:19, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, one more thing: the correct spelling would be Túró Rudi. Is it okay now, or should we change it, with a redirect from the old one? Frigo 18:52, 22 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Note that "Rudi" is also a diminutive of the Hungarian male first name "Rudolf". Rumor says there was a Hungarian food expert with this name working on the development of the product back in the 1960s, hence the name of the bar.

In Hungarian grocery stores the regular-sized Pöttyös brand costs twice as much as the store brand of the same size. There's no difference in taste or quality so the store brand (Spar, Tesco, etc) is actually more popular. I base this on my own experience of seeing shelves empty of store brand túró rudik by mid-afternoon while piles of Pöttyös go untouched by thrifty consumers. :-) - anonymous (2009 augusztus 18) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.149.150.252 (talk) 17:13, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
