Vаdiм, I have read that article however all the other cyclist pages e.g: Will Barta, Jakub Mareczko etc all use "Will Barta... who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam CCC Team". What you're referring to is a pattern not a standard. Such a pattern should be avoided in Wikipedia whenever possible. You's specify a more presice date. See also WP:RELTIME --Vаdiм (talk) 15:02, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

However, what I have just read now "Absolute specifications of time are preferred..." It says they are preferred and then goes on to say "...because the latter may go out of date..." since these pages are updated regularly they wont go out of date I feel that using currently flows better than rewording as; from 2019 rider rode for x team. Again, this is your personal preference, not a standard. The Wikipedia:Manual of Style is based on the common consensus across the Wikipedia and it's the standard to follow. The page in question is a biography of a living person not a news bulletin. The MOS:REALTIME in particular advises that Wikipedia:As of style should be used in such contexts.--Vаdiм (talk) 11:58, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm creffett and I'll be your third opinion today. Vаdiм is correct per MOS:REALTIME and MOS:CURRENT. CURRENT mentions that articles updated frequently can use these terms, but this doesn't appear to qualify. While other articles may say "currently," that isn't correct according to the manual of style. I would recommend using the {{as of}} template, as mentioned on MOS:CURRENT, so that the statement is flagged for occasional review. Also, Paulpat99: you say that these pages are updated regularly and so won't go out of date, but that's a significant assumption to make - better to explicitly flag the time-dependent information so that it's visible to anybody reviewing these sorts of statements. ^creffpublic _{a creffett franchise} (talk to the boss) 16:52, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
