GA Review[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch
Hi, I am reviewing this article for GA. It is an interesting article. I did some copyediting, which I hope you do not mind. Feel free to revert anything I did. The problems I see are mainly with the sometimes clunky wording. I will add comments below. —Mattisse (Talk) 21:52, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Examples of problems with prose:

  • "the album has a more conventional sound, with everything somewhat off kilter" - could you clarify this?
  • "For guest drummer Phil Collins, Eno had previously helped Collins' group Genesis with their album The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. When Genesis front man Peter Gabriel asked how they could repay him, Eno replied -- looking at Phil Collins -- that he needed a drummer. Collins played drums on "Mother Whale Eyeless" as repayment." - this needs to be reworded so that it fits in with the rest of the paragraph.
  • "Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) overall has been described as sounding more upbeat and bouncy than Eno's previous solo album, and that these sounds disguise the more sinister themes and subject matter that Steve Huey of allmusic described as "subdued and cerebral"." - This also needs clarification or rewording.
