Move mentions of Things from the Flood to new article? Suggestion[edit]

Should mentions of Things from the Flood be replaced with a new article for it? I think the way that it is included in the article right now is unattractive and being its own RPG, not just an expansion, calls for a new article. Warpaltarpers (talk) 20:36, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

On Wikipedia, notability is a test used by editors to decide whether a given topic warrants its own article: WP:NOTABILITY. I honestly doubt there's enough sources discussing the second game independently of the first, especially given how dependent the ttrpg hobby is of blog reviews (that aren't admissible on Wikipedia). But you are more than welcome to prove me wrong. CapnZapp (talk) 08:43, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As CapnZapp notes, the sequel probably isn't notable enough on its own to warrant a separate article. That said, information about the sequel could perhaps be collected in a single section rather than spread throughout the article. V2Blast (talk) 03:09, 2 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of maintenance template Suggestion[edit]

Although the reception section has been created, is it enough to remove the template? Warpaltarpers (talk) 20:41, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Since the game has won an Ennie, its notability has been established. However, the "improve ref" template still plays a function in that refs are still very sparse - outside of the awards, there are simply no independent sources (all other refs are either to the publisher or kickstarter). Remove it if you will - I'm content to leave it for the time being. CapnZapp (talk) 08:48, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
