Comment[edit]

"The main route through Brownstown is Pennsylvania Route 772, which runs through the center of town. Talmage is located just east of Brownstown." None of this information is true. Violinobaixo (talk) 14:51, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Very odd how confusing this is ... I found a plate with a map of "Conestoga Valley, Lancaster Country, Pa" on it ... it shows "Talmadge" as a town just south of Brownstown, Pa, just across the Conestoga River. On Google Maps, this shows as "Talmage"? https://www.google.com/maps/place/Talmage/@40.115918,-76.2124187,15z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x89c63d9a1ba379ed:0x15c89dc0270e4cea ... are these the same? In other words, is "Talmage" and "Talmadge" two spellings for the same community? I think so ... except that the USGS GNIS site lists "Talmage", but at a different longitude/latitude (http://geonames.usgs.gov/apex/f?p=gnispq:3:::NO::P3_FID:1189239) ... very odd. Also odd that this page says Township = West Earl (which is where Brownstown is), but links to West Lampeter??? Lynchmob98 (talk) 19:57, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
