I'm just getting started in true wiki editing and have one issue. For similar books there is no 'citation' box at the top, yet in the code I can find no citations. So, since the wiki is about the book, which is the source - how does a self-referencing citation work? Ursa major prime (talk) 20:26, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what you mean by "citation box". Or do you mean a maintenance tag, like "This article does not provide any citations"? If the information is straight from the book, e.g. for a plot summary, you wouldn't need to cite it, but good articles have more than just plot summary (real-world context, for instance), so they would usually have references in other places. --Fru1tbat (talk) 13:53, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
