Tarwon Jirapan → Taworn Jirapan – His name is Taworn, not Tarwon. Thai wikipedia confirms that, some English sources wrongly reported his name as Tarwon and that had been repeated by other sources too. 1964 Olympic official report also calls him Taworn source Sports2021 (talk) 17:46, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support per the official Olympics docs, ten years late. Statistics aggregation sites are notorious for perpetuating misspellings. But I don't see how the Thai Wikipedia can be taken as confirmation of anything here. --Paul_012 (talk) 21:07, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
