i miss techtv!!!

techtv was awsome. why did they have to take it off. :( i miss those good old days. just looking at the pictures of the old cast makes me cry. jk.

Yeah man, Tech TV definitely kills G4tv. G4TV sucks. All it has is "Ninja Warriors" all day and sometimes "Attack of the show". But seriously, once TechTv was over, I pretty much stopped watching television... I hope the "Possible Reunion" Happens...--75.139.103.133 (talk) 15:06, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Agreed. It's too bad they didn't move the shows to another channel, or start a new one. It feels like we're in the dark ages now after such a great era of tech info. A definite void is left on cable, now 4 years later! Unreal 70.240.145.204 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 20:43, 28 May 2009 (UTC).
Yeah, I don't see why it would have been so difficult to keep the one channel that had intelligent tech shows. I mean, I've been checking out Revision3 and Twit.tv but nothing beats the days of watching good ol' techtv. Honestly, I would pay $1000 out of my hard earned cash to get a dvd set of the entire broadcast session of techtv(1998 to 2004). I would even enjoy the old commercials. lol.--75.139.103.133 (talk) 05:20, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

It certainly wouldn't fit on any (at least ONE) hard drive you could buy. But, yes wouldn't it exist somewhere, they do keep recordings of the old shows don't they? There are some torrents, but they certainly don't contain everything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by The snare (talkcontribs) 05:48, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

Wouldn't it be awesome if we could get wikipedia blacked out to instead petition to bring TechTv back? The snare (talk) 05:50, 27 January 2012 (UTC)

TechTV literally saved my life. I grew up in a poor rural area of the states with violently dysfunctional family. TechTV showed me a world outside, with people who were passionate and kind. Today I'm on the other side of the world, doing good work, and with a new family of my own. I know I couldn't have gotten here without that early lesson from the good folks at TechTV. I actually cried at the loss of TechTV, but I know that many kids today have better access to this sort of information than I did growing up with a 28kbps dial-up connection.
