No longer living[edit]

Ted Corbitt has sadly passed away at the age of 88 at the MD Anderson Center in Houston, TX. He bravely was fighting a personal battle against cancer, but had developed heart and respiratory complications which could not be cured. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.87.1.170 (talk) 20:46, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

African American[edit]

Ted did a lot for distance running at a time when few African-Americans were involved in the sport. It'd be nice to find a way of mentioning this. futurebird (talk) 03:32, 26 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
