Common mistake concerning his Christian name[edit]

Teddy Rankin's first name was Edwin, not Edward, as previously listed in the article. His birth certificate has 'Edwin' and on the family photographs and other documents he is recorded as 'Edwin'. The memorial gates at Geelong College erected in his honour, have the correct name, but many AFL sites have 'Edward'.MPCR (talk) 09:15, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
