Just undid what I believe to be vandalism[edit]

Someone might want to check though. They had changed peoples named in slight ways. A quick Google search shows the original names were correct, but I dont watch the show. So for all I know they might be wrong. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Zellfaze (talk • contribs) 22:57, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The father of Farrah's baby died? Then provide the reliable sources to prove it.[edit]

As I stated in one of my recent edit summaries for this article, "I cannot find any reliable source that says the father of Farrah's baby died. I hope that is not just a rumor which originated here at Wikipedia."

The two sources that were in this article for it did not note the guy as the father of Farrah's baby. If using those sources was based on the name because the name of the guy is somehow public, for all we know it could be a different guy with the same name who died. Flyer22 (talk) 03:36, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Farrah confirmed in an interview with Life & Style magazine that the baby daddy of Sophia named Derek Underwood did indeed die. 68.196.39.193 (talk) 7:24, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
That's fine, but what would be the reason for including the name of Sophia's father in this article? Neither he nor his family appear in the series, and based on the fact that neither Farrah nor anyone in her life discusses him on-camera, I would guess that they prefer not to discuss him at all. There is absolutely no reason outside of placating rubberneckers that this information needs to be included here or in the 16 and Pregnant article. 209.104.239.26 (talk) 19:48, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, we know now from recent episodes in Season 2 that Sophia's father did die; we still do not know the details, however, unless there is an interview where Farrah discusses that. Mention of the baby's father being dead is now okay, as I see it is now in this article, but putting anything else about him is not until Farrah speaks more on it. Flyer22 (talk) 20:34, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
She mentions in the show that he died in a car accident. I can't believe anyone thought it was a "conspiracy" started by Wikipedia. People are stupid. 24.69.112.193 (talk) 08:18, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
There was "a conspiracy" because, as stated, there was no reliable source that said the father of Farrah's baby died. It hadn't even been mentioned in the show at that point. So given that, and that many people have a penchant for making things up in Wikipedia, my concern was not at all due to stupidity. Flyer22 (talk) 02:34, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures[edit]

Does anybody want to upload pictures to this article or the 16 and Pregnant article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.196.39.193 (talk) 07:24, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would venture to guess that the reason there aren't any is because there aren't any freely available in the public domain. 209.104.239.26 (talk) 19:46, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Screenshots would be okay, but I cannot see Wikipedia seeing them as too valid; they would simply be seen as decorative. Flyer22 (talk) 20:37, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I see no where they would fit in this article as it currently is now. Flyer22 (talk) 20:40, 20 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Charges against Amber[edit]

had not been laid according to the two references that were cited after that assertion. Maybe they were, but the two sources said nay. Furthermore, neither one said that Amber's daughter had been removed from the home by social services. Was this just made up? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.11.5.237 (talk) 05:19, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Copyediting tag[edit]

The only need for copyediting I see is reference to the cast by their first names instead of their last, as the tag's note says (even though the cast actually are better known by their first names, but that's another argument I have already tackled, at 16 and Pregnant, and have no desire to tackle again). So if that is the only reason the tag was added, I will take care of it later and remove the tag. I also plan to further fix up this article and one or two of its related articles, for reasons stated at User talk:Herostratus#16 and Pregnant article and User talk:Flyer22#re 16 and Pregnant. Any word of the $ amount of their contracts?[edit]

It's likely this information is confidential due to the image that is meant to be portrayed. But I think the FULL truth needs to be told about "reality shows".

So if anyone knows it would sure be appreciated. (and "Thank You" to all you who take the time to make sure things are corrected, re-corrected, and clarified)

I can't believe I'm writing this: Farrah Abraham may deserve her own article[edit]

But due to the notoriety of her sex tape (with the arguably notable James Dean), Farrah Abraham may deserve her own article. Or not; beyond pointing out the fact this "artistic" has been described as 'the most successful celebrity “sex tape” ever, even topping Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian’s movies' (National Post), I'll drop this issue, & will ignore pleas to help write the article or defend it from the meanies at WP:AfD. -- llywrch (talk) 23:32, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If you don't mind, I altered the title you created above; the "Farrah Abraham may deserve her own article" part will alert others to what this section is about when viewing it from the table of contents or in the archive once its archived.
I don't think that it's a good idea for her to have her own article. It would be a lot of work to keep WP:BLP violations out of it, and the article may eventually mostly or only become a WP:ATTACKPAGE. Flyer22 (talk) 00:14, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
She is extremely notable at this point and passes the GNG bar by a dozen miles. Page protection exists to weed out BLP violations and things of that nature.LM2000 (talk) 04:18, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I wouldn't say "extremely notable." But if someone creates an article for her, I'm not going to go after it and oppose it. Flyer22 (talk) 05:00, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Teen pregnancy shows[edit]

I think somewhere in this article there should be links to simular TV shows like 16 and pregnant — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:980:45E4:1:8C70:60C6:6740:4701 (talk) 19:17, 24 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Added New Season, what is wrong?[edit]

I watch Teen Mom and the related shows since the first seasons. And in the reunion episodes of every season they say what season it was and sometimes even during the season. If my edit ist wrong, so MTV or the Producer has to be wrong too. Or what? I don't understand???????????? And the article does not match the other standard Teen Mom articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nerdi-tine (talk • contribs) 05:30, 2 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Your deletions[edit]

Do review WP:MOSTV. Stop deleting correct cast order, reception and ratings material. The article is supposed to be like that. Flyer22 Reborn (talk)

I don't understand? I thought the articles should look like the other articles of Teen Mom Shows. I watch Teen Mom and the related shows since the first seasons. And in the reunion episodes of every season they say what season it was and sometimes even during the season. If my edit ist wrong, so MTV or the Producer has to be wrong too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nerdi-tine (talk • contribs) 04:22, 9 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nerdi-tine, did you even look at MOS:TV? My concern is you deleting correct cast order, reception and ratings material. That has nothing to do with MTV being wrong. The other stuff, you can tweak. But deleting correct cast order, reception and ratings material is not tweaking the article. Also, do not edit as an IP and as a registered account in a way that might mislead; see WP:SCRUTINY.
