In the main article it mentioned that John Peel "made history by playing it twice". How so? I'm curious.

Is displaying the lyrics right there not breach of copyright ? .. I was just wondering, considering all the noise made about lyrics sites not so long ago.

The day we'll actually just be able to grab a copy the whole fk song and not worry about "breach of copyright" about lyrics will be a great day, indeed. I want to hear Peel's all-time favorite song now. Bah! fkn needle time... Jebba 04:24, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As Fergal Sharkey is now CEO of UKMusic, which is responsible for musicians' rights, royalties and copyright issues, it will, no doubt, soon become evident whether publishing the lyrics to Teenage Kicks on this page IS or IS NOT in breach of copyright regulations. Why is it so notable that "made history by playing it twice"? Becuase he was so in awe that he had was rendered speechless and had to hear the song again. Radio stations frown upon playing a song twice in a row.Doc Strange 12:09, 25 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tony Blackburn used to play a record twice regularly on his Radio 1 show in the late 1970s. In a feature on his show called "Intant Replay". Whereby he would play the record he has just played a second time. Chilkoot 17:47, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
