Untitled[edit]

This revert war needs to end, so I'm starting the talk page to discuss the trivia dispute. Whoever insists on this trivia being added, please explain why my explanation is invalid. -- Digital Watches 22:02, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Okay then, heres my arguement: If Fry was frozen for 1000 years at the age of twenty something that would mean that in order for him to become a teenager again he would have to have aged by more than a thousand years at least, otherwise he would look exactly the same as he did when he was frozen. Everyone else would have to regress in age by more than 1000 years as well, making them all die as none of them (including Farnsworth) have not lived that long. Can anyone say anything to the contrary?

Yes. He didn't age while in the cryonic chamber, so the same rules should apply for aging backwards. It can't go both ways. He either aged during that time or he didn't, and it's obvious that he didn't actually age those thousand years, so there's no reason his age would change any differently than normal, as the science fiction principles of this episode clearly have to do with physical age, not how long it's been since the person was born. Okay, thank you, all I needed was an explanation. All leave it as is.

Alright. Sorry for all the trouble. Digital Watches 22:58, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry as well. From now on I'll use discussion pages (I'm such a newb I didn't know about them).

Gorn reference[edit]

I have a screen-cap of the Gorn's appearance (on the cover of the story-book Leela reads to the children from) from this episode, would it be interesting to add the image to the article page? --Progman3K 03:55, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes sure I can log in and leave a note, do you still have it? 92.8.117.9 (talk) 21:56, 27 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
FWIW, you responded to a comment from 2006 left by an editor who hasn't edited since 2013. Additionally, we don't add pictures to articles just because they're "interesting". Cheers. DonIago (talk) 14:17, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sequence of events at the fountain[edit]

Didn't Zoidberg fall in the fountain prior to the rest of the gang jumping in to age themselves?Youkai no unmei 22:14, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That was Zoidberg's brother Norman. Stardust8212 21:42, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Therfore the events as stated when I read this review are incorrect. The way its described is: "They jump in, then Leela fails to catch Zoidberg" when it is in actuality "Norman falls in, then they go in, then Leela saves them all."Youkai no unmei 22:14, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the entire portion about Norman as it made the summary very confusing and didn't enhance the article, it really is just a one off joke and the general opinion is that we should not try to recreate the humor of the show in the article. If someone feels that it is really that important then I would recommend a complete rewrite of that section as it was really rather poorly written when I deleted it. Say What?[edit]

What does Pazuzu say in French at the end? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.17.185.103 (talkcontribs)

I don't remember exactly but pretty much he says "good night" (bonne nuit) I believe. He may say something else too though, I can't remember at the moment. Stardust8212 12:40, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He says "And that, little one, is how papa gained his freedom. Now, bonne nuit, bonne nuit to you all", I swear this is a reference to to a movie but I can't for the life of me remeber where it's from, but essentially he's just rapping up the episode by implying that he was telling his son(?) the story all along, and yes, "Bonne nuit" does mean "Good night". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.196.75.66 (talk) 17:51, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Teeth[edit]

should it be mentioned that Farnsworth uses nuclear powered teeth, but also has teeth visible in his mouth? 216.121.255.97 (talk) 06:02, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not unless a reliable source took note of it. Doniago (talk) 16:08, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
