I have a 1985 episode of Emmerdale Farm on a VHS cassette in which Terence's age is referred to as being 20 (birth year 1964/65, depending on whether he'd had his 1985 birthday or not). This age is substantially different to the revamped character of later years, who would have been 34 in 1985 (born 1951). Such alterations of fictional facts are, of course, commonplace in soap operas. The two Terences were different in both birth year and appearance!
