Actually, this song doesn't belong to either Cleopatra Stratan or the claimed indian author. It is a very old traditional Romanian Christmas carol titled "La Vitleem colo-n jos" or "La Viflaim colo-n jos" or "La Bethleem colo-n jos" (depends on the region) and it has been in the romanian culture for hundreds of years. To probe that this is the truth you can search for any of the aforementioned song titles on Youtube, Trilulilu or any other major streaming site and can see for yourself that the romanian song had been uploaded years before this movie was even announced (or the indian song "composed"). Tangible proof can be found in Electrecord's record archive featuring the National Romanian Chamber Choir "Madrigal" performing this song 30 years ago. I would like user AbigailAbernathy to first check the sources I cited and perform some self-documenting before undoing my revision of the article. PS: I am a musician who finished George Enescu music high-school in Bucharest and I can also claim that it is an evident copy by just listening to both songs. Can you please check the following link and see if it displays in both English and Romanian: http://www.discogs.com/Corul-De-Camer%C4%83-Madrigal-Marin-Constantin-Colinde-Romanian-Carols/release/1894477 This is actually another CD containing the aforementioned song, but my browser shows me the page in both English and Romanian languages. Also, please check the record's picture at: http://s.dsimg.com/image/R-1894477-1315279428.jpeg (which is also extracted from discogs.com) - you will notice that the second song is called "La Vitleem colo-n jos" and is composed by Nicolae Lungu (more info on Nicolae Lungu at: http://www.coralanicolaelungu.ro/indexengleza.html , http://ro.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolae_Lungu , http://www.crestinortodox.ro/dictionarul-teologilor-romani/nicolae-lungu-84559.html). For the latter two links you will have to use Google Translate as they are in Romanian. After reading a little about the author and seeing the CD picture, please do a search on google for "la vitleem colo-n jos by nicolae lungu" (Nicolae Lungu picked the carol from romanian folklore and arranged it for 4 voices - SATB mixed choir, he didn't actually create it from scratch). You will find countless pages on youtube and other music sites where you can listen to the carol being performed by different choirs or singers. Please listen to several interpretations and then make a honest comparison with Teri Meri's theme (or ask a musician's opinion). Hi. Cleopatra Stratan is just another artist to sing this traditional Romanian carol, there's nothing to credit her for and in my opinion the part where she is mentioned should be removed, as it is completely irrelevant to the song.
