The article needs a cleanup. Thaba Nchu was also apparently the name of the kingdom, as alluded to in the Orange Free State article. Greenman 23:48, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Where does it say that? I can't find it. RJFJR (talk) 22:14, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thaba 'Nchu as a tourist attraction[edit]

As it was when I found it, the article referred to "several" hotels and casinos, and there is only one hotel/casino, according to the current SA Casinos Directory. Also, the way it was written it appeared that this is one of the greatest tourist attractions in the Free State. Back when gambling was illegal in SA, and many people in Bloemfotein commuted to the casino over weekends, this may have been true, although, even then, I would wonder if the Golden Gate Park was not a more important attraction. Now, gambling is legal, there is the Windmill Casino in Bloemfontein itself as well as the Lesotho Sun over the border in Maseru: how much of a tourist attraction is Thaba 'Nchu now? Still important, yes, but no longer "one of the biggest".

PS. I corrected the article spelling: Thaba 'Nchu, together with links and references. — Preceding unsigned comment added by David FLXD (talkcontribs) 03:01, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
