Lost episode?[edit]

The article claims:

The story was adapted for the 1968 BBC series with Peter Cushing. The episode is now lost.

How can this be? This particular episode was shown on PBS just a few years ago (about 2008). Bill Jefferys (talk) 18:40, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ironic foretelling of World War I[edit]

Ironically in 1914 [ten years after the story was published] World War I did break out..due to part to Wilhelms hasty actions [among others]...it did indeed bring about the beginning of the end of the British Empire..a hundred thousand lives...and expedidure of a hundred million pounds just as the Prime Minister had feared...would happen! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.5.89.217 (talk) 15:32, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
