Williams[edit]

This was not Robin Williams final movie that he filmed or that was released. The Angriest Man in Brooklyn was filmed in the months of September and October of 2012. It was not released until May of 2014 on VOD and PPV. Williams went on to make other films prior to his death in August of 2014, and that were released after his death. Including Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, which started filming in January of 2014, and was subsequently released in December 2014. So to say The Angriest Man in Brooklyn was the last film he shot prior to this death, or that it was the last film released after his death is not true. Actually, it's partially true that this was Williams' last film. Or more specifically it was the last film project he got to see finished. Williams lived to see this film. All other films (Night at the museum 3, Merry Friggin Christmas, Absolutely Anything) are posthumous. Therefore, it's true that this was Williams' final film released before his tragic suicide. In any case, would it work for you if I inserted "one of Williams' final films before his death"? That sounds more accurate and reasonable enough to me. What do you think? First, thanks for having a reasonable exchange about this. I can agree that it was the last film he could have seen himself prior to his death. Although I am not certain how noteworthy that is, as many actors can be in that situation where a particular film they did is the last one they could have "seen themselves" prior to the death. While other films are finished, and in post production, and just have not been released to the public yet.
However, if you want to re-word your statement to say "one of" Williams final films before his death I will not object. Fsm83 (talk) 23:53, 1 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
That sounds fair enough to me. I'll just add "one of his last" to the page. Glad we finally settled this debate before it could get out of hand. Thank you. Ngh93 (talk) 01:09, 2 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
