Tommy (poem)[edit]

Jmj713, I am puzzled at your revert. The intent of my edit was to provide a path to separate articles about two poems with the same name. We are not a WP:CRYSTAL. The Bazaar of Bad Dreams is not planned for release for another 193 days and may never be released at all. I suspect we should not have an article for the collection at all much less to start changing a redirect to a Rudyard Kipling poem to this article the way you did here.

One option is to make Tommy (poem) a disambiguation page that links to both Kipling's and King's collections.

Unfortunately, Tommy is a common name meaning it's not easy to find articles about either poem.

For Kipling's Tommy Google books reports 15,000 hits for "Tommy" "Rudyard Kipling" and Google Scholar has 2,190 hits[1]. Even among the valid hits it seems most of the hits are from collections containing the poems rather than writing about the poem.

For King's Tommy Google books reports 19,100 hits for "Tommy" "Stephen King" and Google Scholar has 1,210 hits[2]. A glance at the results are because of the name "Tommy" and not the poem. Adding "Playboy" to the search terms narrows it down to 1,910 and 169.[3][4] --Marc Kupper|talk 06:32, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I made Tommy (poem) a disambiguation page. --Marc Kupper|talk 06:40, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

cookie jar[edit]

is there a reason cookie jar isn't listed in the list of stories? Tracer9999 (talk) 10:47, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
