Removing unsourced material[edit]

I removed the following unsourced material (posting here for future reference): "The EP was originally released only on CD and came in a sealed slipcase sleeve, but soon after the release, the EP was issued on 12" vinyl and on cassette. The handwriting seen on the cover of the EP is actually Björk's handwriting. The EP was only released in Australia, Europe and Japan. It never saw a worldwide release. It peaked at number twenty-eight on the New Zealand Singles Chart." --Another Believer (Talk) 15:37, 9 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the New Zealand chart peat back, with a reference.Nqr9 (talk) 08:29, 24 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

White label[edit]

Should we perhaps link to White label somewhere in the article? Not sure where to shoehorn that in… - dcljr (talk) 03:59, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I added it to the see also section for now. ---Another Believer (Talk) 04:05, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Heh… Yeah, that's one way of doing it. (I didn't even think of that!) - dcljr (talk) 20:03, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I wasn't exactly sure how to incorporate the link into the prose, so at least it is somewhere on the page. I still hope to promote this article to Good status one day! ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:12, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
While the tracks have probably been released on white labels, all of the tracks except the unreleased "Come to Me (Sabres of Paradise)" were actually released with printed labels. Just Björk trying to appear more underground than she actually were? — Kawayama (talk) 16:39, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Citations needed[edit]

@Jp41511: I added some citations needed tags following your recent edits. If you have sourcing to verify these claims, please add, otherwise the content may be removed. Thanks! ---Another Believer (Talk) 20:01, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Best Mixes from the Album Debut for All the People Who Don't Buy White Labels → ? – Keep the first 6-7 words per WP:CONCISE. Some sources use a separator[1][2] or don't include the half the words[3][4]. — Zawl 19:29, 1 October 2017 (UTC) --Relisting. DrStrauss talk 13:36, 9 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"The Best Mixes from the Album Debut"
"The Best Mixes from the Album"
"TBMFTADFATPWDBWL"

  • My vote goes to
"The Best Mixes from the Album-debut" (consistent with title as written on the release).
Failing that, "The Best Mixes from the Album Debut".

  • I'm on the fence. Seems most sources actually refer to the album by its full title, at least at first glance. ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:45, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose If that is the actual title, then leave it as it is and simply create all the likely redirects. I suspect most people will visit the target article from a discography page, or something similar, rather than typing in the title. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:33, 9 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per Lugnuts, the official title works, just create redirects for the shortened titles. —innotata 09:47, 12 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Missing hyphens in title[edit]

Is there a reason why the Wikipedia title doesn't have the hyphens that are present on the album? On the front cover of the album, the title is written the best mixes from the album-debut for all the people who don't buy white-labels (the title is not written anywhere else on the album), which should be written as The Best Mixes from the Album-Debut for All the People Who Don't Buy White-Labels according to the Manual of style: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Capital_letters#Composition_titles

I don't see why we shouldn't move the article to a version including the hyphens. — Kawayama (talk) 10:48, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The hyphened version is shown as a stylization. We should keep in mind how most English speakers would search for this album. ---Another Believer (Talk) 14:44, 18 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Anybody who searched for it without hyphens would still get there by redirect. I feel we should use the correct title, as written on the cover. — Kawayama (talk) 17:24, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
