Initial comments[edit]

  • The lead needs to expanded to summarise the article per WP:LEAD. Done (ShugSty 7/12/16)
  • Citations in the lead are discouraged per WP:LEADCITE. I would recommend just moving them to the body Done/ completed (ShugSty 3/12/16)
  • "watching "men against boys" Flitcroft also added" - missing full stop Done (ShugSty 20/4/16)
  • "The 1–2 loss on the night was the first of two defeats for Celtic on the way to the final." - needs a citation -Done (ShugSty 13/6/16)
  • The two paragraphs in the Fourth round v VfB Stuttgart section can be merged together for better flow Done (ShugSty 20/4/16)
  • "Celtic's first European semi-final since the early 1970s saw them paired against Portuguese side, Boavista. As with all the previous rounds, Celtic had the advantage of playing the first leg of the tie at Celtic Park." - unsourced - Done (ShugSty 13/6/16)
  • The second paragraph in The final vs. F.C. Porto is unsourced
  • "Anfield. and a television programme and subsequent DVD produced by STV took its name from the team and was called The Bhoys from Seville." - syntax error. Also unsourced at the end Done (ShugSty 20/4/16)
  • Ref 1, ref 2, ref 5, ref 11, ref 34, ref 55, ref 62 and ref 64 are all dead References 1, 11, 34 (now 32) all salvaged/ replaced; references 2, 55, 62 and 64 remain kaput, have marked up with <dead link> marker - Shugsty 20/4/16 -- All dead references now rescued or replaced with other live references (ShugSty 5/12/16)

I'm sorry to do this, but this doesn't meet the criteria yet. There are a lot of dead links and unsourced claims which needs to be addressed before this can pass.
