Combined table[edit]

It would be desirable to combine the two lists into a sortable table. I have not done so because both need sources, and until they are provided it makes it more difficult to keep sourced information separate from unsourced material. If both were sourced this is what the table could look like this:

Episode number[edit]

Article states that there were 52 episodes produced, but the episode list only adds up to 51. Echoedmyron (talk) 15:12, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Jack Handle[edit]

I don't know how to link articles that are under different names, but there is a Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleft_chin_murder) that is the same series of crimes mentioned as "The Jack Handle" episode - both are about Karl Hulten and Elizabeth Jones. The reason for the changes in names of the perpetrators, cities where Hulten was from, and how they met is because Jones was still alive at the time of the broadcast and later (1954) reprieved and released. So was it broadcast on the BBC in the 50s?[edit]

as well as on Radio Luxenburg? Or did British listeners here it on the late night sponsered broadcasts and misremember it as a BBC programme? Episodes got (re)broadcast on BBC Radio 5 in the early 90s btw.109.224.137.121 (talk) 20:54, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

answer: The BBC have usefully placed details of all radio programs up to 1995 in an online searchable database, BBC Genome. The Black Museum series was NOT broadcast by the BBC until 1991. The BBC did not make programs for Radio Lumembourg who broadcast this program. How can you supply a reliable source to say some old printed source was wrong? You can't. However- the Black Museum was first broadcast in the USA, then shortly by Radio Luxembourg. It did not make it to the BBC until digital radio arrived! Extra episode?[edit]

The ‘Cases’ section says there is a dramatization of the Podmore case in an episode titled ‘The Receipt’. There does not seem to be any such episode in the list. And listening to these, I have not heard anything like Podmore’s story. Is this a mistake, or is there a missing episode? 2601:647:6680:4450:ED33:F97:DAF4:7185 (talk) 01:17, 11 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
