Photos[edit]

Is there a way to move all the photos below this page to Wikimedia Commons? There's more photos of Black Tusk on Commons rather than on Wikipedia and I think it would be more appropiate, especially because of the photo layout problem. Black Tusk (talk) 19:59, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File:Black Tusk 4.jpg to appear as POTD soon[edit]

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Black Tusk 4.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on April 19, 2012. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2012-04-19. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. :) Thanks! howcheng {chat} 17:50, 16 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Black Tusk, British Columbia
A view of Black Tusk in Garibaldi Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada. It is the core of an extinct stratovolcano, formed about 1.2 million years ago when the loose cinder around it eroded, leaving only the hard lava core. At 2,319 m (7,608 ft) above sea level, it is particularly noticeable from the Sea-to-Sky Highway just south of Whistler, B.C.Photo: Andysonic777
