Which is correct, please, the 1964 date in the article or the 1967 date in this page's chronology? IanHistor 12:51, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'll add a some more questions: Why is "Alex Harvey" credited on the front cover rather than "Alex Harvey's Soul Band"? Is that handled differently on the spine, back cover, and LP label or not? I don't own this LP and can't tell simply from that illustration. For all I know, the LP was released as a solo Alex Harvey project, with the Soul Band only being credited later or only in America or only by Wikipedians who noticed that the personnel were the same.

"This album was nearly a solo album by Alex Harvey, as he was only accompanied by a few other guitar players on this album." Am I missing something and this is simply unclearly stated or does it not make particular sense? I appreciate all this information, about LPs I don't own myself, being posted to Wikipedia but how is that assertion different from SAHB albums, where Alex was only accompanied by four other players without those being considered nearly solo albums? On Roman Wall Blues, which was a solo album, Alex was accompanied by ten others.

And wouldn't the chronology more properly be "Alex Harvey's chronology", as the 3rd LP isn't by the Soul Band?IanHistor (talk) 13:02, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:The Blues Alex Harveyalbum.jpg[edit]

Image:The Blues Alex Harveyalbum.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
