Had a look at this article and found the following issues:

Images

  • "Archibald Levin Smith rowed in the four seat for Cambridge." - change to "occupied the four seat."
  • "Edmond Warre rowed at number six for Cambridge." - you mean Oxford?
  • Is it possible you could add an image of the course?
I've reorganised the captions, used a different image template, added the course map. The Rambling Man (talk) 10:43, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Race

  • This section could be expanded. For a start state that Cambridge started at the Surrey station. Also, perhaps you could describe weather conditions and who was favourite to win the race as well.
I'll work on this right now. The Rambling Man (talk) 10:43, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I've added a few more sentences to the Race section, along with a footnote describing an anomaly I just found in sources relating to the winning time. I can't find anything in the online source about weather/favourites other than a allusion to "badness of weather" or "mediocrity of crew", which aren't directly addressing your comment. There may be something in Drinkwater or Burnell but I won't be able to check that until Sunday afternoon. The Rambling Man (talk) 11:15, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I will promote to GA class if these issues are addressed. good888 (talk) 10:03, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, much appreciated. The Rambling Man (talk) 10:43, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Nice job! Going to promote this to GA class now. Fingers crossed that you will find more infomation in those two books! good888 (talk) 12:04, 6 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
