The Collation and Annotation of Saṃyuktāgama:Original Buddhism Texts

It is a very good version for study[edit]

The set of books are printed well, rich in content. The Buddhism theory is correct, comprehensive and consistent, with full and accurate materials. It is a very good version for study, and will be handed down to posterity as a classical work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stream007 (talkcontribs) 03:05, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I highly appreciate the express way how these books use[edit]

I highly appreciate the express way how these books use. They illustrate objectively, trying to remain the literature unchanged, and let the data speak (the ancients so-called “narrating, not creating”) ,instead of jumping to the conclusion(also it is the wisdom of the authors. Actually the authors don’t just narrate. They imply their opinions in the selecting and ordering of the literature, and in a few comments.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yanlanzhijia (talkcontribs) 03:09, 20 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The authors devote themselves to comparative study of the relevant literature of Nikāya and Āgamā[edit]

The authors devote themselves to comparative study of the relevant literature of Nikāya and Āgamā, and have studied Saṃyuktāgama, relevant Chinese scriptures and Pali sūtras and abhidharma for many years. They founded Āgamārāma and make great contributions to carry forward and advocate the teaching of Āgamā. The text of this book 1-5 volume, could be said to be collated finely and annotated accurately. The 6-8 volume of the book is Saṃyuktāgama dictionary, including nearly 5000 entries. Each entry is not only labelled with the charpters and locations of sūtras, but also quotes relevant Chinese translation scriptures and corresponding Pali texts. It is very helpful and convenient for scholars. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tanxun1999 (talkcontribs) 02:29, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have looked up to this works for so long[edit]

I have looked up to this works for so long. It fills many gaps in this field of China. The volume 6-8 is the first professional Āgamā dictionary with plenty of corresponding Pali texts. It is the best version of collation and annotation of Saṃyuktāgama in China mainland so far. I commend the hardback, very solemn. Thanks so much! I can see the authors have made important achievements in Buddhist studies and they do put a lot of work. It is not easy to spend 14 years to study thoroughly. The dictionary of last three volumes is extremely useful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shifm008 (talkcontribs) 05:25, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
