Notable Members[edit]

Is the purpose of the citations in the "Notable Members" section to corroborate that they were members of The Country Club, or that they're notable (or both)? The citations that were in there mostly didn't seem to verify that the person was a member of TCC (I think they were intended to indicate that the person was notable? though the Hooper-Madoff and Wadsworth ones seemed largely to incriminate them in financial scandal -- but maybe that's part of why they're notable?) but I put in a citation for Spooner that seemed like evidence that he was a member there.

Also, Anne Nason (who won the Clyde Park Challenge Cup in 1913) is listed as a "notable member," but a 2015 Boston Globe article (https://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2015/06/30/tom-and-gisele-looking-join-the-country-club/ButdqQMWmHLKcQ3QGCQGaL/story.html) said "no women (as full members) until 1989." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Windtheme (talkcontribs) 23:38, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
