Availability on DVD?[edit]

I would imagine the best chance of the Series being made available on DVD, is if the much mooted Equalizer Movie actually gets made. Apparently this is to start filiming in 2007.


I saw the show, but don't remember much, did Melissa Sue Anderson play McCalls lost loves daughter, or is she playing another daughter? The Jag is a 1985 black XJ6 Jaguar sedan [New York license plate: 5809-AUJ] (it says XJ6 on the back)

Curiouser and curiouser, I am looking at the rear of the car in the first episode of series 2 and the registration of his car is now AUJ rather than AUG as it was in series 1...it's still a black Jag XJ6 though :-)

Stainless Steel Walther PPK[edit]

I remeber McCall having a stainless PPK, but I've also seen publicity photos for the show with him holding a blued model. Was that one ever in the show?--156.26.12.72 19:19, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In the pilot episode McCall is shown carrying and using as his primary weapon a blued Walther PP, most likely in .32 ACP/7.65mm. Adam Ant[edit]

For Guest Stars, Adam Ant was one. I remember the episode well where his character kidnapped girls and forced them into captive prostitution. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_ant#Acting_career confirms he has been in the show, HOWEVER I have checked the episode in question and he is not credited either as Stuart Goddard or Adam Ant although the guy in question does look remarkably like him (I remember thinking he was familiar when I watched the show previously). The episode in question is "S1E4 - The Lock Box" and a few other notable minor celebrities are in the episode as well, but maybe too minor to mention.
People who know of the Die Hard movies might recognise the DJ Hunter (in the same episode) as the cop McClane talks with over the radio (and he's more notable than that) played by actor Reginald VelJohnson

Are you sure he's not billed as Adam Ant? I would've sworn he was (and the IMDb, for what that's worth, doesn't say "uncredited" or "as [alternate name]"), but I have to admit that I haven't seen this in years. --Tbrittreid (talk) 21:27, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have the episode downloaded and I've looked twice at the start (where guest stars are usually credited) and at the end and no mention of either name. To be totally 100% sure I will check again and watch both sides all the way through in case they decided to add him in somewhere else. Edit: The episode does cut out straight after "Starring Edward Woodward" and goes into the episode, so he might have been credited there...he definitely wasn't credited in the end credits though 78.86.230.62 (talk) 21:46, 19 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gotta problem?[edit]

The page, up until I edited it anyway, said his newspaper ad says "Got a problem?". The actual wording is "Gotta problem?" and I have corrected it. I have noticed that not ALL episodes have the same advert. S1E5 has no "gotta problem?" at all, and it might be possible that future episodes have the grammatically correct "got a problem?" so this might be down to personal taste. Callan[edit]

I remember watching this many years ago and I always though that this was at least vaguely a sequel to 'Callan' (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Callan_%28TV_series%29) from about 15 years earlier. From Memory[edit]

When the show suddenly left the air, I remember a news blurb, maybe from actual local or national news, or from Entertainment Tonight, that this show was canned because an actor, from the cast, just died. While I can search microfilm archives from my library, I'm just pointing out here. Again, it's from memory, and the memory is distant.

After a bit of research, via Bing and Google searches, it appears that nobody died, but the last episodes deals with a suicide. It unlocked the memory, and it is from Entertainment Tonight. I can see the set of ET and the Mary Hart talking about it. Funny thing memories are. And for over 20 years, I thought somebody died and that's why CBS cancelled the show. LOL! Nothing to add to the article, sorry.

Jeff Seitz composer credit?[edit]
