ok great thanks Darksun, this article needs help or possible speedy deletion. it really reads like an advertisement. this just my opinion, but its completely bias and lacks any sort of clear facts regarding its nature and purpose. i have seen the show on direct tv, i mean you might as well start writing articles for commericals honestly. The Fizz is dressed like a commerical for YouTube or honestly I am not even sure what. Does anyone understand exactly what Direct Tv is marketing or selling here ? Holocost

I don't think they're trying to market or sell anything, I think they're just trying to get in on the YouTube/Viewer Created Content bubble. I'm sure there have been other TV shows purely exhibitioning web (and web-style) content, can't think of any others off the top of my head other than b3ta's short lived attempt. I'm going to have a go cleaning up this article, but if you think that it should be deleted take it to articles for deletion, I don't think it fits speedy criteria. --Darksun 21:39, 15 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Fizz is a show on Direct TV. The FIZZ is clearly marketing through endorsements and advertisements. It is an exclusive "club" or oligarchy of vloggers that sign deals with a satellite company. I am not sure if fits for "speedy deletion" either. However, it is clearly bias and lacking facts. It should prove interesting to see where e-fame or YouTube notoriety goes. Because frankly, I really don't understand it myself Holocost

Hey guys,

I am the one that created the Wikipedia for The Fizz. I don't work for DIRECTV, I just really like the show and thought it should be on Wikipedia. I did some research and found out how to contact the producers from emailing them (they give the email out on the show). I know I don’t know much about Wikipedia, but I thought if I got the basic info up you guys might be able to help me.

discussion MERGE into Direct Tv[edit]

unclear why this "show" needs its own article. it's poorly written and lacks notability. i'm open to merging this with DirectTv article on programming. any thoughts ? i have direct tv and haven't seen it on for a while. is it even still on the air ? ill double check. thanks TomSkillingJr.
