Untitled[edit]

I was looking for the american soul group "First Class", and to my astonishment I did not find it, but instead this completely different british group. So far, so ok.

But then I saw the american group's first LP (Going First Class) from 1976 being listed here (as being from 1978). It is not possible that the british group released an album with exactly the same name as their american name brother, or is it?

I am not familiar with writing articles here, so I just put this comment here, hoping someone more familiar with wiki will go ahead and fix this mistake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.121.80.232 (talk) 23:07, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Release date[edit]

"In the summer of 1974, Carter and Shakespeare wrote the song 'Beach Baby'."

However, according to the Wikipedia article for "Beach Baby", the release date was 3 May 1974, well before the summer of 1974. Also in that article, on the 31 August 1974 edition of "American Top 40", Casey Kasem revealed that a recording of the song already existed by 1973.98.149.97.245 (talk) 16:34, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Compilations[edit]

Grapefruit Records (UK) has just released a 3-CD full career retrospective set (Beach Baby: The Complete Recordings) containing essentially all of the group's output - including alternate mixes/edits, demos, and radio jingles. Worthy of adding to the discography. 64.251.41.193 (talk) 19:47, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
