This page needs some Disambiguation[edit]

There's a Video Game called "the hunter" who seems to be exponentially popular, uses a next-gen graphical environment and is relatively realistic.

As a non-english & not totally bilingual guy i prefer leave this to someone else.92.132.18.30 (talk) 23:23, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wow. This article sucks. Way too much subjective analysis. I'd delete the deserved portions but then the page would be almost empty.

Fair use rationale for Image:Blondie - The Hunter.jpg[edit]

Image:Blondie - The Hunter.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Recording date?[edit]

On this page it states that the album was recorded in 1981. Any source? Also when. The island of Lost Souls page says it was recorded in December, 1981 and released in 1982.Alexhaniha (talk) 21:38, 16 September 2011 (UTC

Abbythecat (talk) 06:04, 16 November 2013 (UTC)I've fixed these errors. See the Hunter press release. Says it was all recorded in Jan. & Feb. of 1982. I think I caught all the mistakes. Thanks. Abbythecat.Abbythecat (talk) 06:04, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Abbythecat (talk) 00:16, 17 November 2013 (UTC)Just when I think I know when The Hunter was recorded, I find conflicting information. Discogs.com lists it as being recorded in "Fall 1981". The Biography channel's bio on Blondie has the narrator saying the group went back into the studio in 1981 to record The Hunter. Some CD issues of it (check out imports) clearly say 'recorded in Fall 1981'. Yet the 'press release' which you can link to on the article page says it was recorded in Jan. & Feb. 1982. For Your Eyes Only was recorded for a James Bond film that was released in June 1981. And the theme to it (not used) is on this album. Clearly this one was recorded in 1981, unless the version here is a re-record. And apparently U.S. radio stations really did get promotional 45s of Island of Lost Souls on 10-31-81, when The Best Of Blondie was released. Why, I don't know, as the song isn't on that album. Perhaps a 'cross-promotion' to keep the public interested? If anyone knows exactly WHEN Island of Lost Souls was recorded (not released) please let me know. Thanks. Abbythecat (talk) 00:16, 17 November 2013 (UTC)Abbythecat. PS - I've made a few edits to include the "Fall 1981" information, as it is reliable. English Boys "video"[edit]

What I imagine the person who wrote this is referring to is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nb-KkVNEbw8

This is a performance from French TV, not a "video". No promotional video was made for "English Boys" (or "War Child") 80.43.198.237 (talk) 09:06, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
