Ridiculous name[edit]

I was reading this article, thinking "Lys La Rue" was the only-just-mentioned Airedale Terrier. Only when I got down as far as the last sentence "Improbably reunited with Lys, he sets up house with her," and cast "Lys La Rue- Bowen's love interest" was it revealed that:

  1. "Lys" is female and
  2. "Lys" is human.

By choosing such an eclectic name for this deuteragonist, the author guarantees nobody has a clue what or who they are from name alone. I think the Plot summary section could be improved significantly by recording the species and sex of "Lys" when that character is introduced to the story. Otherwise the summary reads like the protagonist is trying to keep track of his dog who keeps escaping into the bushes. 120.147.203.15 (talk) 05:47, 29 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
