This page needs major work.[edit]

Whoever wrote this page is clueless in regards to the plot of this movie. For starters, the oil didn't run out backed by the fact the people living free in California in their pirate broadcasts have stated they're using oil again. From there, the city where Major's character lives and is the setting for the beginning of the movie and the home for those attempting to stop him is Boston Massachusetts, not New York City. These are not the only issues either

Seriously, if the date is calculated using the year of the film's release along with the comment from the main character of "for the last two decades", the 2011 date isn't accurate. We are not certain that the initial events of the movie take place in 1981. That and an off-handed comment of "the last two decades" can often be rounded in casual reference, and yet only moves the years forward to 2001. Thoughts User talk:DoctorJoeE?
